Karrie and I went to Arlington National Cemetary in Virgina on Saturday. I stopped and paid my respect to Ron Katona (MSgt, USAF), a friend we lost to cancer a few years back. We also went to the JFK memorial and read the quotes they have all over there; very moving. We watched the changing of the guard at the Tomb Of The Unknowns which was really amazing. Photos of the trip are here.
Mom, Dad, Karrie and I took a trip down to see the Casey Family today, and for some of us, meet William Patrick for the first time. What a cutey! Tim managed to get off of work early and he, Heather, and William went with us to Pizza Hut for lunch. I really enjoy visiting with them. We planted the seed that they needed to move closer to us and to Tim's family; hopefully it takes.
So I have something in my stomach. The doctors don't know what it is, just that it shouldn't be there. I've been doing much better lately, eating more now that Mike and Karrie switched my food from that fru-fru crap they were serving me to 9-Lives. I'm still underweight (8.5lbs last time I checked), but I remain in good spirits: I'll still bite Tyson if he gives me the chance. Anyhow, we're going to wait this out a bit before we decide if exploratory surgery is warranted. Wish me luck.
Well it took me a couple of days, but the site is finally in a state that is acceptable. Many, many more features to come including a photo gallery with user albums for myself and probably my mother, Linda. Hope you enjoy.
Mike took me for a walk today when he got home. It was different since he normally just takes me outside in the back yard and lets me go potty. Today there was no potty first; went out for the walk first thing and I emptied my whole bladder on the first fire hydrant.
