Blah, blah, blah.

So the contract I work on said that no one was allowed to work this week due to budget concerns.  My company was nice enough to give us the entire week off with pay, so I thought it would be a good opportunity to get cracking on the nursery.  The first (and largest) task was to get the room we are currently using for the office/storage empty so that we could visually come up with a plan for this room to function as a nursery.

Karrie and I went to Arlington National Cemetary in Virgina on Saturday.  I stopped and paid my respect to Ron Katona (MSgt, USAF), a friend we lost to cancer a few years back.  We also went to the JFK memorial and read the quotes they have all over there; very moving.  We watched the changing of the guard at the Tomb Of The Unknowns which was really amazing.  Photos of the trip are here.

Mom, Dad, Karrie and I took a trip down to see the Casey Family today, and for some of us, meet William Patrick for the first time.  What a cutey!  Tim managed to get off of work early and he, Heather, and William went with us to Pizza Hut for lunch.  I really enjoy visiting with them.  We planted the seed that they needed to move closer to us and to Tim's family; hopefully it takes.
